You loved them when they played for us earlier in 2023. Should They Stay Or Should They Go? Overwhelmingly you said, bring them back, make them stay! So Saturday March 2nd Truro Calling!
London Calling were initially formed for a one-off charity gig on the anniversary of Joe Strummer’s death.
After the success of the first gig they carried on playing and refining the sound of the group, using the same amps and guitars as The Clash to make their onstage sound as perfect as possible.
They have been in the Julien Temple directed Joe Strummer biog The Future Is Unwritten and they have been playing to rave reviews to audiences across the UK and beyond. In 2017 they toured playing the anniversary of The Clash’s debut album, 2018 they toured Give Em Enough Rope and in 2019 the classic London Calling LP. They have sold out London’s iconic 100 Club eight times in a row and as well as playing across the UK, America and Ireland in 2019 they played a sell-out fantastically received 10 date tour of Australia and New Zealand.
2022 band will be playing THE CLASH s/t album to celebrate its 45th anniversary !
Acknowledged as the premier Clash tribute in the world. They are now back on the road bringing the sound and the power of The Clash across the UK
