Feb 1st 2020 sees the night being headlined by Cornish Rockers going places, The Rezner. The Rezner will be launching their forthcoming single "Wouldn't You Like To Know" in February. They are joined by Falmouth's hot new contenders Facepaint, Truro College Wonderkinds Kazak and from over the Tamar, the hotly tipped Argh Kid from Brighton. We're talking a night of serious Indie/Alternative talent!

The Rezner
''Vibrant, dynamic, and faultlessly capable of crafting unique indie tunes, the group were a sharp and animated breath of fresh air.'' - VULTURE HOUND
''Indie garage rock perfection" - GIRLS AT THE ROCK SHOW
“infectious indie rock, dripping with confidence, hits you hard.” - GIGSLUTZ/THIS FEELING
“An explosive barrage of infectious riffs and screeches came flying out of the amps to the unsuspecting Great Estate audience. This powerful and strident band came out kicking and screaming and left myself and others in complete awe of their raw and unapologetic sound. - CLUNK MAG
‘their audacious brand of indie-rock with enough cocksure swagger to make Alex Turner blush.’ - GIG SOUP

Argh Kid
Is an English alternative hip hop band from Manchester, England, led by the MC/Poet David Scott
“A Breath of Fresh Air… Brilliant Songwriter” - Janice Long, BBC Radio 2
“Somewhere between Damon Albarn and Mike Skinner” - Alex Winters, TRASHED
“New Star from Our Streets” - Louder Than War
“A Dose of Realism Shot Through With Imagination” - Clash Magazine
“Brilliant Urban Poet. I love it” - Chris Evans

Facepaint
The Cornish young guns FacePaint have come out swinging with their debut single ‘White Fence’. It’s a garage rock classic that is oozing with slacker rock vibes. It’s DIY to the core and it’s simple charm is what makes it such an ear worm. It’s clear they take strong influence from artists such as Ty Segall and early King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard (they do a mental cover of ‘Lord Of Lightning’). They’re an exciting new band in the ever growing Cornish scene. Keep your eyes on these guys, they’re going to take the local scene by storm. Clunk Magazine

KAZAK
open.spotify.com/track/4umb7RpZ5OHz3KUgcgPaXU?si=ilmHFCpDSWOFFEfC_Tn7-w
‘The event started with the host’s band, KAZAK. An alternative-rock trio who smashed it. Fronted equally between the widely talented Magnus Lennon and Jack Lester-George. Their chemistry on stage presents itself through the music allowing the audience to focus solely on enjoying themselves and with the people around them. They are a relatively new band, but the fellas have a true passion and that is showing with their recent popularity. Watch this space.’ - Tom Tozer/Clunk Magazine
