Behind the Postcard – community premiere!

FREE TICKETS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE. ONLY 60 AVAILABLE. THE NEWLY REFURBISHED OLD BAKERY VENUE AND BAR WILL BE OPEN FROM 630PM, 1 HOUR BEFORE THE SCREENING.

Join us for the first screening of a film commissioned for the G7 summit to present and represent the creative and cultural industries in Cornwall.

A collaboration between Creative Kernow, Screen Cornwall, Hall for Cornwall and Wildworks, the creation and production of this film has involved over 100 creative freelancers from right across the region.

Accompanying the premiere is a programme of short films from emerging talent in the region, including ANORAKS which was produced through the BBC New Creatives scheme, POSTBOX from Falmouth University’s School of Film and Television graduate shorts programme and AN TAROW (The Bull), a Cornish Language commission through FylmK.

No parking on site please use Garras Wharf next to Tesco TR1 2TN. FREE after 4PM.

The venue is on the flat. There are steps down into the loos.

As restrictions still apply to indoor venues, you are required to arrive wearing masks, and keep them on whilst moving around inside the venue. There is no requirement to wear them when seated. The bar is open and there is table service.

The team behind the Three Rivers Film Club that screened an indie film each month here before lockdown will be on site, and will be managing the screening. Come and meet them and hear what they have in store for the rest of 2021..
