Former Chumbawamba vocalist Dunstan Bruce performs his new 1-hour play; a rollercoaster of despair, anger, love and ultimately hope.
In this personal and irreverent 1-man show Dunstan Bruce, ex-frontman with chart-topping band Chumbawamba, takes the audience on an existential voyage told through poetry, prose, music and projection.
'Am I Invisible Yet?' is no cozy fireside chat reminiscing about his Tubthumping past - it's a vital blast of angst, anger and despair. It is Theatre du Coeur, a love letter to hope, humanity and the haphazard heart.
Feeling increasingly invisible, impotent and apoplectic in today's world, wondering if we're all going to hell in a handcart, Dunstan gives us a piece of performance poetry and physical theatre that rages and ranges across angst and despair, comedy and delight, middle-aged dissolution and disillusion.
Fuelled with a whisky drink, a vodka drink, a cider drink and a lager drink, and with a love for the new generation of artists and activists, maybe, just maybe, if we do the things we're most afraid of, perhaps we can still get back up again.....
