We’re still compiling the history of the building, but some parts of it are thought to be over 300 years old. It has a history of being used as a marine warehouse and storage, for various businesses down the decades and centuries, loading and unloading their cargo including grain onto the ships at high tide, to be sailed away to their destinations.
